IPM Testing Services provides periodic condition monitoring using IPM instrumentation or your existing hardware. A database is developed to record performance, establish machine histories, assist maintenance diagnostics and extend machinery reliability. Problems detected include imbalance, misalignment, motor and electrical defects, geartrain defects, and bearing defects.

 

Vibration readings are generally taken during normal operation, with minimal or no disruption.

The machinery-monitoring program provides early warning of impending trouble. Trend charts allow analysts to easily compare current readings with predetermined alert levels and historical data to spot significant changes in machinery condition.

Analysis of a machine’s frequency spectrum and spectral history can pinpoint the cause of increased vibration levels and identify damaged or deteriorated components. Armed with this valuable information you can:
